Episode 94 : All My Homies Hate Fractions

Episode 94 : All My Homies Hate Fractions

Most of you are too young to know what your podcasts will be. But when I read these words—words of hope, dreams—I realize that the one wish that was granted to me, so late in life, was the gift of 48 Minutes of Dogs Barking.

Today we're talkin' bout : Dracula Flow 5, inbred pitbulls, an octopus in an uncomfortable place, You're The Man Now Dog, Drew Carey losing his mind at a Phish show, ZKasino losing all their money, John Cena losing his pants (again), the return of 2 Kings - Ken Bone and UtilityLimb, the TV adaptation of Twisted Metal, Alex Garland's MEN, and we give a salute to one man's brave Jewish wife.

Enjoy!

[00:00:00] If every high school principal is in the students, America would be a much sexier place.

[00:00:05] You will be prepared for Dennis Prager to fuck your ass with passion.

[00:00:09] We will come in all teachers.

[00:00:11] It is my intent to make poor no with my Asian students.

[00:00:15] 48 Minutes of Dogs Barking, 48 Minutes of Dogs Barking, 48 Minutes of Dogs Barking, 48 Minutes of Dogs Barking

[00:00:30] Brow!

[00:00:36] Brow!

[00:00:37] 48 Minutes of Dogs Barking, 48 Minutes of Dogs Barking

[00:00:50] That call was just a record. Last time we recorded together I had a job.

[00:00:54] Yeah that's really fucked up.

[00:00:56] Yeah it's not good. It's bad. I don't recommend losing your job when you're trying to move.

[00:01:03] Yeah generally.

[00:01:05] Particularly when I wasn't trying to get fired from my job.

[00:01:11] Didn't really do anything to get fired from my job, other than just be like hey it would be cool if you all treated me a little less shitty.

[00:01:19] And yet?

[00:01:21] Jesus fuck. They just on the spot.

[00:01:24] I went to go take my lunch break. The son that I work under is a family owned business.

[00:01:29] Came up to me and was like I'm kind of done with you. I got a guy ready to go on Monday.

[00:01:35] I'm kind of done with you? You're not somebody that he's hooking up with.

[00:01:41] Yeah I'm ready to move on. You're no longer fitting the scope of the job.

[00:01:45] Grab yourself to see your goodbyes.

[00:01:48] I gave you an opportunity to save myself. You know if you got something to say but it's like why would I debase myself?

[00:01:54] I don't beg. No.

[00:01:57] I'm not going to beg for this job. This job has been driving me nuts.

[00:02:00] Right.

[00:02:01] Like I still did my job very well. The thing that like you no longer fit the scope of the job is like that's not a me issue.

[00:02:07] That is a management issue because like I was so outsized my skill set for that position,

[00:02:14] I could have done for that business to not properly use me as an issue of management,

[00:02:19] not an issue of the laborer.

[00:02:22] Yeah.

[00:02:23] Higher guy told me that like oh yeah this worked. This worked like the warehouse position for a little bit.

[00:02:26] We'll put together like a online you know.

[00:02:30] Oh God yeah that was the promise wasn't it?

[00:02:32] That was the promise that I realized after about a year like I was shankin' it happen.

[00:02:36] And if it is I don't want to work here for five years and write a fucking Facebook post

[00:02:40] but like I'm going to put real fucking real crisp for y'all.

[00:02:43] I may have actually published a fucking photographer. I've done social media for businesses like

[00:02:47] I like to think I have a pretty good way with words and a pretty good way with a camera

[00:02:52] and I think I'm pretty good writing copy and I would walk around that fucking job all day

[00:02:58] and just be like oh that's a post.

[00:03:00] Like I would just see shit or like I would talk to a guy from like the hoist department

[00:03:03] and he'd go tell me how he saved a customer ten grand and I'd be like oh

[00:03:07] really we should go get testimonial from that guy.

[00:03:09] I was going to say it yeah.

[00:03:10] Like I would try and like edge that stuff and I would just get shut down.

[00:03:14] And if you looked at this company's socials I phrase it like this.

[00:03:19] If this were like a sandwich shop your co-worker was trying to get you to go to

[00:03:24] you wouldn't go.

[00:03:25] Oh.

[00:03:26] You're like oh that place is about to get shut down by the county.

[00:03:29] Like their socials are all bad.

[00:03:32] There was so much growth and I don't know.

[00:03:35] I don't know if it was someone being lazy or not someone thinking I didn't have the

[00:03:40] ambiles hungry for it.

[00:03:41] It's the reason you took the job.

[00:03:42] The reason I took the job because I had other job offers that paid more.

[00:03:46] There would have been much more boring jobs but I also think probably

[00:03:50] we had a lot less friction and drama.

[00:03:52] Yeah.

[00:03:53] Talk to some people that have worked high up in businesses and

[00:03:57] explain some of the stuff that goes on there.

[00:03:59] Like yeah I'm not sure if that's all legal.

[00:04:00] Yeah not good at all.

[00:04:02] The way things went down.

[00:04:04] But yeah just absolute waste and I just interviewed with a job that's basically the exact same

[00:04:09] thing and I named the pay rate that I want which was the pay rate I was trying to get from my old job

[00:04:14] which was such a scandalous.

[00:04:16] How dare you ask for this.

[00:04:18] Yeah who are you to ask for it.

[00:04:20] They're like yeah that sounds cool.

[00:04:22] Shit yeah dude yes let's go.

[00:04:24] Yeah we can do that.

[00:04:25] It was like really fucking funny.

[00:04:27] I really wanted to tell the guy like you know I got like basically fired from my last job.

[00:04:31] For saying that.

[00:04:32] For asking for that amount of price.

[00:04:33] He was like yeah that sounds tight.

[00:04:35] Shit.

[00:04:36] Then we talked about sports or some shit for like 10 minutes.

[00:04:39] Hell yeah.

[00:04:40] Like I don't know anything about sports but guess what.

[00:04:42] I'm gonna fake it.

[00:04:43] Fucking bullshit.

[00:04:44] I can bullshit.

[00:04:45] Yeah I got yeah oh there's a guy named Ryan Sutter.

[00:04:48] Used to play up in Minnesota.

[00:04:49] Okay yeah go check out that guy.

[00:04:51] That sounds crazy.

[00:04:52] Well speaking of sounding crazy it's 40 minutes dogs barking.

[00:04:55] My name is Jason this is Brian.

[00:04:56] God damn we're here.

[00:04:57] We are here.

[00:04:58] We are in effect.

[00:04:59] We got my neighbors getting a new roof on so the occasionally the roofer guys will just

[00:05:04] start going.

[00:05:05] Well when I was walking by there it's going.

[00:05:09] I think it's because they saw you coming.

[00:05:13] I don't know if that's right.

[00:05:17] Here comes Brian.

[00:05:19] The jacking it ghost.

[00:05:22] Shooting hot ectoplasm ropes.

[00:05:28] Oh so a lot happened in our brief time away.

[00:05:31] Hope you guys enjoyed the thanks I hate it little teaser there.

[00:05:34] Yeah little taste of what we do.

[00:05:36] I'm glad that Israel no longer exists.

[00:05:44] I have no follow up to that.

[00:05:46] So one of the things that did happen while we were away is that Plum Corp records released

[00:05:51] yet another and they're calling it the final Dracula flow.

[00:05:55] It's Dracula flow five.

[00:05:56] I'm in the Mariana trench smoking submersible.

[00:06:00] I had a bad bitch in the passenger seat and I pressed the gas and showed her what 485 horsepower

[00:06:07] feels like then she shitted on my seat.

[00:06:10] 20 minutes of Charles Walker going the fuck off.

[00:06:14] It's insane.

[00:06:15] You were saying it goes a little long there's not a lot of hits.

[00:06:18] There's some misfires in there for sure but I think I think the stuff that doesn't

[00:06:22] hit completely to me is I went when like something funny like I was in Merrill Beach

[00:06:29] scraping the rust off the frogs.

[00:06:32] I feel like that hits even harder because there's a couple where you start like lose

[00:06:35] interest and then some you know it snaps you back in.

[00:06:38] I get it.

[00:06:39] Okay.

[00:06:40] I see I see that thing where it where like yeah I was I was throwing dice in the club

[00:06:43] beneath the pyramids.

[00:06:45] I was from the one the early one.

[00:06:46] I think that's from Dracula flow three.

[00:06:48] Yeah three boy it's worth a listen just for.

[00:06:52] Because they say it's going to be the finale.

[00:06:54] It was a couple days ago.

[00:06:55] Plum Corpse been doing some really funny shit lately but the fucking R&B guy.

[00:07:00] Oh shoddy laying eggs wasn't that the name of the son shoddy laying eggs.

[00:07:05] I probably listened to the Givenchy Co at least once a day.

[00:07:09] Oh man.

[00:07:11] Diamond suit screw them.

[00:07:13] Yeah.

[00:07:14] Was it Tia Prince scrotum.

[00:07:15] Tia Prince scrotum.

[00:07:16] I feel like I'm an ILLI.

[00:07:19] Like what the fucking big big white shooter.

[00:07:23] Yeah.

[00:07:24] Big choppa with the monkey nuts.

[00:07:27] Yes.

[00:07:28] Well that's what you said you were going to go into this job interview just like

[00:07:31] saying that you're going to be swinging your monkey nuts in there.

[00:07:36] Alongside Dracula flow five another thing also broke my brain this week now this

[00:07:40] has existed for a while I found out but it is a Twitter user goes by the name of

[00:07:46] the sound oriented and he's been doing these brain rot videos about a bunch of

[00:07:54] guys online that do custom inbred pit bulls.

[00:08:04] It's so fucking bizarre.

[00:08:06] He's like little squat XL bullies.

[00:08:09] Yeah.

[00:08:10] The first time I saw one of those in real life I was at Creep Court Lake.

[00:08:12] Yeah.

[00:08:13] And if you can believe it the guy owning it looked like he was on some gear like this

[00:08:17] guy let me worry it out.

[00:08:18] But I'm like trying to take a fucking photo of this guy.

[00:08:22] He's just mean mugging me every time that I thought he was like he knew.

[00:08:26] Yeah.

[00:08:27] He would be like talking to his girlfriend and the dog will be looking at me like

[00:08:30] while we were walking I'd be like try just I wanted to get for this little

[00:08:34] fucked up dog.

[00:08:35] Yeah.

[00:08:36] Yeah.

[00:08:37] It looks like it looks like if you ask someone on Reddit to make a realistic

[00:08:44] Ninja Turtle.

[00:08:45] OK.

[00:08:46] But they didn't really have a great command the Photoshop.

[00:08:50] It started on an Instagram page the mindset bullies formerly mindset

[00:08:56] exotics with a Z because of course 2X Pimpy 3X BAPE DOH BOY.

[00:09:03] And so apparently what that means is that this dog was inbred twice with a dog

[00:09:09] named Pimpy and three times with a dog named BAPE.

[00:09:12] But this user sound oriented then made a series of videos and released a nine

[00:09:18] minute compilation.

[00:09:20] I watched about half of it before I tapped out truth be told my favorite

[00:09:24] one is all the blood skull ones.

[00:09:27] It's called irony mom.

[00:09:30] I'm not actually get Riverside kennels blood skull.

[00:09:36] Let's go.

[00:09:37] Let's go.

[00:09:38] Let's go.

[00:09:39] Hashtag blood skull did his thing.

[00:09:42] Let's go.

[00:09:44] 14 times Grinch 8 times since Grinch 14 times Grinch 8 times

[00:09:50] since Grinch Grinch.

[00:09:55] It goes on like this for a very long time but clips from the movie Ted

[00:10:00] Fortnite jokes family guy drops fucking surreal.

[00:10:04] It's very this is very highly evolved YouTube.

[00:10:08] It's gone so bizarre.

[00:10:10] But yeah this has been around apparently for two years the whole 2X

[00:10:14] Pimpy 3X BAPE specifically I've seen people riffing on like the

[00:10:18] lifestyle bully stuff and like the weird in bringing these squat

[00:10:22] little like it looks like what if a pug was made out of muscle.

[00:10:26] Yeah the buff pug look yeah we know.

[00:10:28] Yeah I'm like seeing video sometimes these dogs came and go up

[00:10:32] like steps dickhead ex Kiki this dog looks like something from

[00:10:36] Mass Effect like it's just some sort of the gene phage killed

[00:10:40] my people 2X jerk off I mean.

[00:10:44] The glissie meets perks dog looks like he's just about to die.

[00:10:50] That dog is hurting Jesus Christ.

[00:10:53] The best thing that they could ever happen to that dog is the

[00:10:57] meat of police officer with a trigger finger no discipline on

[00:11:02] firearms training going to Christie Noem's house yeah so we

[00:11:05] talked about before MKBHD reviewing the humane AI pin that's

[00:11:11] what it was.

[00:11:12] He reviewed something else this week something that I was

[00:11:14] kind of interested in his thoughts on that was the rabbit

[00:11:17] R1 and it was pretty much the same response this would be

[00:11:21] great if it worked but the exact same shit happened with

[00:11:26] someone who is involved in creating the project the same

[00:11:29] thing that happened with humane the guy dunked on him

[00:11:32] on public on Twitter if MKBHD this is Graham Fleming

[00:11:36] posting decided his initial videos were barely reviewable

[00:11:40] instead of posting and iterating where would he be where he

[00:11:43] is today the thinking emoji.

[00:11:45] Yeah but here's the thing like MKBHD it's a video of him

[00:11:49] looking like he's a teenager yeah you know look like he's

[00:11:52] in his mom's house like in the kitchen like doing

[00:11:54] something like shit man like whatever like we all got

[00:11:56] to start somewhere yeah and I think I watched the

[00:12:01] humanity pin or whatever the fuck it's called mm-hmm I

[00:12:04] watched part of that review with you last time I

[00:12:06] recorded and I watched most of his rabbit R1 review

[00:12:09] yesterday independent of this right and I was like yeah

[00:12:12] I think he's right I think he gave like a very concise

[00:12:16] and generous oh yeah very generous review like even to

[00:12:21] give it that much time yeah because this video is like

[00:12:23] what 20 something 20 minutes I got about two thirds

[00:12:26] through it I'm like okay I know it sucks and it

[00:12:28] sucks like this is not a bad review this is what

[00:12:31] he's reviewing is like is this uninteresting yeah

[00:12:33] there's not much else to say you've kind of iterated

[00:12:37] on it one or two times when you're like well this

[00:12:39] part that this doesn't feature doesn't work this

[00:12:41] doesn't do as intended the part where he gets to

[00:12:43] the fact that it has a touchscreen but it

[00:12:46] doesn't actually like really work as a

[00:12:48] touchscreen fucking blue my mind you still

[00:12:50] have to roll the little scroll wheel and I

[00:12:52] don't mind the fucking I don't mind physical

[00:12:54] fine feedback but he was saying that because

[00:12:57] of the fact that you can roll it from both

[00:12:59] sides like it has a really slow control by

[00:13:02] wire I suppose you would say yeah set to

[00:13:04] very low sensitivity so you really have to

[00:13:06] scroll that motherfucker to do anything I

[00:13:09] think this guy Graham Fleming here

[00:13:12] that's trying the roast this guy he he needs

[00:13:16] to shut the fuck up yeah because one of

[00:13:18] things like oh so rearing is like we have

[00:13:20] released a market yeah something that

[00:13:22] doesn't work yeah and a video reviewing

[00:13:25] something is not the same as a physical

[00:13:27] product that you're expecting people to

[00:13:29] pay $200 for you jackass yeah this isn't

[00:13:32] like oh yeah this this is pretty good you

[00:13:35] know I like to see what they would do with

[00:13:37] like the second or third generation of

[00:13:39] this technology is like it's broken it's

[00:13:42] like an FCC violation level of broken

[00:13:44] same thing with the fucking pen yeah it

[00:13:47] does not do what you say that it can do

[00:13:51] what killed me as far as like a

[00:13:53] demonstration was it's supposed to have

[00:13:56] a feature where you can take a foe of

[00:13:58] something and then say something like

[00:14:00] well what kind of tree is this oh yeah

[00:14:02] it misidentified like this is a Swiss

[00:14:06] cheese plant and he turns it around

[00:14:09] it's like a coffee plant yeah like basic

[00:14:13] thing like you said it would do this

[00:14:15] and I asked your thing to do a thing and

[00:14:17] it didn't do the thing like the AI

[00:14:19] just I mean it just isn't fucking there

[00:14:21] it probably never will be you know not

[00:14:23] really not in the way that people keep

[00:14:25] saying it is yeah the promise of AI is

[00:14:28] well beyond the scope here if rabbit

[00:14:31] wants to give me one for free while I

[00:14:32] finish developing it and acquiring

[00:14:34] more training data and have it show me

[00:14:35] ads once in a while instead that's

[00:14:37] perfectly fine and then Graham Fleming

[00:14:40] they send free ones to reviewers not in

[00:14:42] this case reviewers actually had to

[00:14:44] purchase with their business account

[00:14:46] using sponsor money stop digging you

[00:14:49] hear here's something even funnier

[00:14:51] because Ed Zetron friend pod brought

[00:14:54] attention to how bad the the CES demo

[00:14:57] was was like trying to order a pizza oh

[00:14:59] yeah that guy that fucked that up the

[00:15:03] guy who's in seeing that who's a part

[00:15:05] of the rabbit turns out he's like a

[00:15:08] allegedly like also an NFT scammer oh

[00:15:11] god no yeah April 30th I have become

[00:15:16] obsessed with how bad the rabbit are

[00:15:18] one is the door-dash demo they did in

[00:15:20] front of a crowd for the launch was

[00:15:22] so unbelievably broken didn't work in

[00:15:24] the first try and took forever on the

[00:15:25] second a large action model is a con

[00:15:28] all caps it's piss man like I remember

[00:15:31] tech was like cool and like interesting

[00:15:33] and maybe like a little bit inspiring

[00:15:35] and now it just feels like people are

[00:15:37] just trying to shake you yeah down

[00:15:39] try to scam you try to take you for

[00:15:41] a fucking fool on their fucking dreams

[00:15:43] and their bullshit yeah two unlikely

[00:15:45] returns this week Brian first return

[00:15:48] the Mac famous lover of human

[00:15:50] submarines can bone back in the bone

[00:15:54] zone are back in the bone zone he

[00:16:01] posted on the 26th of April for everyone

[00:16:05] cheering on the crackdowns at the

[00:16:06] university protests don't forget to

[00:16:08] catch up and it's a photo of boot

[00:16:11] polish a plus that's pretty fucking

[00:16:14] good he's also gone the riff pretty

[00:16:16] hard lately after that yeah I saw a

[00:16:19] tweet over the last couple days that

[00:16:21] said you know you're fucking up bad

[00:16:23] when the guy that was a representation

[00:16:25] of like moralist centrist yeah like

[00:16:28] yo this is fucked yeah it's not good

[00:16:30] Jake Berlson replaying I'll take

[00:16:32] fascism over the likes of you I won't

[00:16:35] allow Palestinian supporters to use

[00:16:37] democracy against our own country when

[00:16:39] those they support would not do the

[00:16:41] same can bone replaying well at

[00:16:44] least it's intellectually honest the

[00:16:46] one below is a fucking banger and all

[00:16:49] time oh yeah over the weekend at Wash

[00:16:51] U which is like the closest thing you

[00:16:53] can get to an Ivy League University

[00:16:55] without being Ivy League I think at

[00:16:57] least here in the Midwest absolutely

[00:16:59] yeah so this is a place where I think

[00:17:01] tuition last time I checked like 70k

[00:17:03] years it's insane yeah this is

[00:17:05] ridiculously fucking insane he is

[00:17:07] for Phil Schlafly graduated so you

[00:17:09] know what man there's a lot of prestige

[00:17:11] there Robert Frost went there as well

[00:17:13] of pretty sure Tennessee Williams

[00:17:15] jacked off in the bathroom you know

[00:17:17] all those all those things oh I'm coming

[00:17:19] oh I'm shooting hot ropes over the

[00:17:22] Ben's bathroom

[00:17:25] let me tell you something

[00:17:27] well one really ain't no this is more

[00:17:29] like a Tennessee Williams voice ain't

[00:17:31] a little bit you know how you know how

[00:17:32] Tennessee Williams died no he choked

[00:17:34] on goddamn ball cap that's kind

[00:17:37] it's kind of fucked up you think he

[00:17:39] died choking on dick because he was queer

[00:17:41] yeah your life's kind of funny like that

[00:17:43] life is funny that way well one of the

[00:17:45] most interesting parts about this is

[00:17:47] that also the professor excuse me that

[00:17:49] was assaulted in this video is from my

[00:17:51] alma mater si you ever spell yeah so

[00:17:53] so basically what happened is there

[00:17:55] was a solidarity with Gaza

[00:17:58] protests sit in at one of the lawns

[00:18:01] like like what was going around so many

[00:18:03] other places in the country over the

[00:18:05] last week or so I watched you

[00:18:07] employee called the cops on

[00:18:11] this or deal and so about

[00:18:14] see I'm seeing wash you

[00:18:16] worstal is what they want to fucking

[00:18:18] call it they want worstal

[00:18:20] W U S T L

[00:18:24] Eugh

[00:18:25] W U S T L

[00:18:27] Wistal because I get I get the feeling

[00:18:29] if you say wash you and you got a

[00:18:31] Missouri accent you're gonna say wash

[00:18:33] you wash you wash you got them

[00:18:35] wash rags out there we're gonna

[00:18:37] get out wash you get me a little bit

[00:18:39] of that knowledge and also not gonna

[00:18:41] be working at NASA

[00:18:42] can's fucking the alarm strong

[00:18:45] uh

[00:18:46] was still worse was still worse

[00:18:49] sounds fucking terrible it sounds like

[00:18:51] it sounds like it it sounds like a

[00:18:52] sandwich I would not eat

[00:18:53] it sounds like the drummer from

[00:18:55] super chunk

[00:18:57] Jesus so he's I'm seeing

[00:19:00] County I'm seeing city yeah I'm

[00:19:03] seeing wash you own police department

[00:19:06] this elderly man gets pointed out

[00:19:09] by a wash you

[00:19:11] employee

[00:19:13] like he points to the cops grab that

[00:19:15] guy which is yeah yeah and

[00:19:17] the cops just fucking melee this

[00:19:19] dude fucking sit on him they broke

[00:19:21] his hand and cracked like nine of

[00:19:23] his ribs or bruised them yeah and so

[00:19:26] a lot of people have been like wow

[00:19:28] that's really fucked up it is really

[00:19:30] fucked up yeah no question so

[00:19:32] perm Thacker

[00:19:34] is this is the quote tweet in the

[00:19:36] text reads shocking footage shows

[00:19:38] several officers of Washington

[00:19:40] University St. Louis being a professor

[00:19:41] slamming him and dragging his limp

[00:19:43] body si ue history professor Steve

[00:19:46] tamari is reportedly hospitalized with

[00:19:48] broken ribs and a broken hand one

[00:19:50] doctor told him he's lucky to be alive

[00:19:52] and I mean when this individual

[00:19:55] says they dragged his limp by I mean

[00:19:57] they might as well have been dragging

[00:19:59] a dead man it looks like a lifeless

[00:20:01] corpus yeah it looks like they killed

[00:20:02] him and so Kim bone quote tweet

[00:20:04] this with the man in orange appears

[00:20:06] to have committed trespassing in the

[00:20:08] second degree according to Missouri law

[00:20:10] a civil infraction not crime

[00:20:12] punishable by fine of up to $200

[00:20:14] instead he received multiple broken

[00:20:16] bones if you're okay with this then

[00:20:18] you are a fascist bam and then he

[00:20:21] follows it up with why the cop go to

[00:20:23] work early he wanted to beat the

[00:20:25] crowd

[00:20:27] all of a sudden found his gonads

[00:20:30] you know well funny thing is his

[00:20:32] wash you is where the world got to

[00:20:34] meet Kim bone that is true at the

[00:20:36] presidential debate back in

[00:20:38] 2016 yeah I mean he's

[00:20:42] hometown boys from across the river

[00:20:44] there on the Illinois side but he's

[00:20:46] Metro East yeah that door from

[00:20:48] swirer that he was so famous for

[00:20:50] it was a nice sweater his mom bought

[00:20:52] it for him lay off Kim bone

[00:20:54] welcome back baby and I know this

[00:20:56] one is a long awaited one that you

[00:20:58] were very hyped about I wish it

[00:21:00] wasn't hey I'm doing a thing that

[00:21:02] you can buy yeah

[00:21:05] but I'll take why I can get in this

[00:21:07] lifetime since everything else is so

[00:21:09] she but yes probably one of the og

[00:21:11] shit posters on Twitter along with

[00:21:13] drill and a couple other individuals

[00:21:15] tree bro all former something awful

[00:21:18] posters so on so forth he did not

[00:21:21] he's not posting I want to say in

[00:21:23] 2012 and at that time had exactly

[00:21:26] 606 tweets but for the longest time

[00:21:28] he ended on 666 tweets was noble

[00:21:31] yeah but he returned on the 25th

[00:21:34] the less know that he was a part of

[00:21:36] a new game studio called hot brain

[00:21:38] mm-hmm which I do not I don't know

[00:21:41] anything about this I have looked at

[00:21:44] the website and it looks neat but yeah

[00:21:46] doesn't really give you a lot of

[00:21:47] info about like what games they're

[00:21:49] making because they haven't made a

[00:21:50] game yet their first game is

[00:21:51] apparently coming soon hot brain

[00:21:53] dot land for more info but yeah

[00:21:55] utility limb aka the byband it

[00:21:58] one of all timers oh yeah I'm

[00:22:00] hoping whatever he makes is at

[00:22:52] would be if it was just that he

[00:22:53] forgot his password drew carry went

[00:22:57] to see fish in Las Vegas fear his

[00:23:01] posts were pretty fucking unhinged I

[00:23:16] real I feel like I just got saved by

[00:23:18] Jesus no lie and then he continued

[00:23:21] this is what it must feel like to

[00:23:23] come with a pussy because if it's

[00:23:25] even close I am flaying I guess he's

[00:23:27] a flying to wherever tomorrow and

[00:23:29] getting the best pussy money can buy

[00:23:31] I don't need to be a man know more of

[00:23:33] it if it means I can't feel like this

[00:23:36] all the time fucking keep it bro if

[00:23:39] I can get this feeling instead that

[00:23:41] was God at work or something like it

[00:23:43] felt like I was being saved by Jesus

[00:23:45] no lie drew carry lace gentlemen

[00:23:51] yeah so people of the beer and farts

[00:23:54] book some people were getting a little

[00:23:56] confused by the second tweet particularly

[00:23:58] lying this is what must feel like to come

[00:24:00] with a pussy I'm sure I mean he has a

[00:24:02] kid I know I think I think he knows

[00:24:05] about busting in the hole no I think

[00:24:07] he means if you had a pussy yes yes

[00:24:09] that's why he's saying he's gonna get

[00:24:11] the best pussy money can buy installed

[00:24:13] and you know aftermarket parts he's

[00:24:16] okay so god the rock the rockford

[00:24:18] foz he's gonna get the fucking

[00:24:23] queasy narrative whatever the big name

[00:24:26] brand is you get the Louis Vuitton

[00:24:28] Brandon and I got their tires on my car

[00:24:32] yeah these are our threes

[00:24:35] each leg is a little stamp on it

[00:24:41] but yeah just I just and he's posting

[00:24:47] this okay at 745 a.m.

[00:24:51] yeah my boy was fucking going hard

[00:24:55] he must have been up all night as all

[00:24:57] I can think is cuz like you saw that

[00:24:59] show was just like tripping for the

[00:25:01] next 10 hours I wonder why I never

[00:25:03] shave off my beard was that one time

[00:25:06] I fucked up lined up my my jawline

[00:25:09] and I was like man fucking there's no

[00:25:12] way I'm saving this I just shaved the

[00:25:14] whole damn thing off oh and my worst

[00:25:16] coworker at the job that job I had

[00:25:18] that time says everyone in the office

[00:25:21] hey doesn't he look like Drew Carey

[00:25:23] oh even if you did that's shitty

[00:25:27] I'll take Seth Rogan yeah I get Seth

[00:25:30] Rogan from like a lot of people I

[00:25:32] don't think know what people look

[00:25:34] like yeah I don't see it I think it's

[00:25:37] just like bearded dark haired guy

[00:25:39] bearded dark vaguely gingerly guy yeah

[00:25:42] that's funny yeah I guess I being the

[00:25:45] fun being funny is probably what I

[00:25:47] think Seth Rogan is funny I got a bridge

[00:25:49] to sell you anyway sorry I just I

[00:25:51] couldn't help but just like languishing

[00:25:54] in that one because like Drew Carey

[00:25:56] okay um wanting to abandon his penis

[00:25:58] because he saw fish live at the

[00:26:00] sphere like I ask you is uh are you

[00:26:02] jealous because this guy's wife has

[00:26:04] a brave Jew you know a little bit a

[00:26:08] little bit he's referring to the

[00:26:11] gentleman goes by the name of William

[00:26:13] Ian Uzi at Bordwell Noel the post

[00:26:17] my wife is a brave Jew we stood alone

[00:26:20] at Yale University today she wore no

[00:26:23] mask and was proud notice the hoard

[00:26:26] hiding behind their masks and you see

[00:26:29] this frumpy looking woman with a white

[00:26:32] t-shirt says you just as Jew and what

[00:26:35] looks like puff paint or something like

[00:26:37] they just scrawled it on it's fucking

[00:26:39] weird and the video is just like her

[00:26:42] like walking around like the quad yeah

[00:26:44] and there's probably like I don't know

[00:26:46] 100 200 like people just kind of

[00:26:48] yandering about like walking and

[00:26:50] whatever and like no one's paying

[00:26:51] attention because they don't give a

[00:26:53] shit right it's just some woman

[00:26:55] wondering on with the shirt that says

[00:26:56] Jew on it yeah I mean quite frankly

[00:26:59] if I saw that walking on the street I

[00:27:00] would not engage because I was thinking

[00:27:02] there's something going on here that

[00:27:03] like I want to be a part of yeah

[00:27:05] there's no way this is me as a

[00:27:07] Gentile this is going to look good

[00:27:10] what really tipped his hand there

[00:27:12] notice the hoard hiding behind their

[00:27:15] their masks it looks like people

[00:27:18] weighing in line the C fucking

[00:27:20] sous-deff season so Jeff Stevens

[00:27:24] there's some sign holding there's

[00:27:25] some people who've written you know

[00:27:27] black students for you know a free

[00:27:29] Palestine on the ground and like

[00:27:31] various other things you know it's a

[00:27:32] very it's during the day it's Yale

[00:27:35] it's not the kind of oh we're in such

[00:27:38] danger kind of moment yeah but he's

[00:27:41] presenting it as though as though

[00:27:43] she's you know I'm in like my wife is

[00:27:46] brave for going to a college campus

[00:27:49] with a shitty t-shirt on come on bro

[00:27:51] come on dude you doing such even

[00:27:54] even am happy bro it's probably not

[00:27:58] no and subhanes bft you kidding me

[00:28:01] the weird self persecution of Zionist

[00:28:05] is really yeah unsettling and weird and

[00:28:09] of course we're seeing how this is

[00:28:10] getting weaponized and so many bizarre

[00:28:12] and unsettling ways this yeah this

[00:28:18] feels like Steven Crowder showing up on

[00:28:20] that college campus like you know

[00:28:21] fucking you'll change my mind bro

[00:28:23] debate me yeah because well no

[00:28:25] because you're already coming at me

[00:28:27] from a point of bad faith right and

[00:28:29] the being someone like that is only

[00:28:32] you never gain anything you're only

[00:28:34] ever giving credence to their platform

[00:28:36] validating it you're giving it credence

[00:28:39] just by its very existence and it's

[00:28:41] just ignored and that's what these

[00:28:43] students have chosen to do with this

[00:28:45] woman Jew like okay all right well

[00:28:48] enjoy filming we're gonna do our thing

[00:28:50] over here now because I guess he was

[00:28:52] expecting confrontation I guess that's

[00:28:54] what he wanted my wife is a brave Jew

[00:28:57] wife is a brave Jew wife is a brave

[00:29:00] I don't know it just look at her not

[00:29:02] wearing her wig today I mean this is

[00:29:05] like wife guy shit but then like

[00:29:07] Zionist shit on top of it just odd

[00:29:10] I don't know what he was expecting but

[00:29:12] it certainly was not marked in difference

[00:29:15] you know if we're gonna post my wife

[00:29:19] as a brave Jew would be her like I

[00:29:21] don't know doing kickflip like a five

[00:29:23] set exactly exactly no one could ever

[00:29:29] riff on that negatively don't ever take

[00:29:31] you know it's pretty sick yeah okay cool

[00:29:34] it's time it's time mr. man crypto

[00:29:41] scam oh the week time you're listening

[00:29:45] to 48 minutes of dogs barking the

[00:29:47] podcast and now it's time for the

[00:29:50] crypto scam of the week I thought this

[00:29:53] one was particularly egregious it's Z

[00:29:56] casino Brian you familiar with Z casino

[00:29:59] oh I had heard a little bit about it

[00:30:02] sounds bad yes even though Ethereum

[00:30:06] and Bitcoin are kind of waffling with

[00:30:09] their price action right now retail is

[00:30:12] coming back and so are the scammers

[00:30:15] and you're just seeing a lot of people

[00:30:17] again taking further their fucking whole deal

[00:30:19] so this year according to coin desk

[00:30:21] crypto currency casino Z casino went live

[00:30:24] over the weekend this was this past

[00:30:26] weekend but the launch was met with

[00:30:28] dismay from investors who are calling

[00:30:30] foul on the company for sending 33 million

[00:30:32] worth of user deposits to staking

[00:30:34] platform lead oh so the basics are that

[00:30:37] Z casino is a gambling platform that

[00:30:40] uses the zk sink and eigen da as well

[00:30:44] as chain link and randomizers verifiable

[00:30:46] random functions to ensure fairness

[00:30:49] back in March it raised twenty six point

[00:30:52] two million dollars at a three hundred

[00:30:54] fifty million dollar valuation in the

[00:30:56] lead up to going live Z casino opened

[00:30:58] up a token bridge that allowed investors

[00:31:01] to deposit ether to earn Z cast which

[00:31:04] is the native token to the platform

[00:31:06] originally the website said that the

[00:31:08] bridged ether would be returned

[00:31:10] once the bridging period was over

[00:31:12] that wording has since been removed

[00:31:14] in a blog post April 20 at z casino

[00:31:17] wrote that all bridged Ethereum has been

[00:31:19] converted to our native gas token Z

[00:31:21] cast at a discounted rate of zero point

[00:31:25] zero five five dollars the conversion

[00:31:28] was done as a favor to our users who

[00:31:30] have bridged to participate in the

[00:31:32] consistent it added so 33 million worth

[00:31:34] of ether deposited by more than 10,000

[00:31:36] users was sent by Z casino to

[00:31:39] staking platform lead oh Z casino

[00:31:42] has yet to respond to a wave of criticism

[00:31:44] from depositors who are vocally

[00:31:46] requesting a refund nor did they

[00:31:48] respond to a request for comment from

[00:31:50] coin desk 10,000 users felt like this

[00:31:53] was a good enough deal we're going to

[00:31:56] send three million Samoans yeah Molly

[00:31:59] White add web three is going great one

[00:32:01] investor in the project wrote we

[00:32:04] made a mistake investing in Z casino

[00:32:06] early it sounds like a scam but 95

[00:32:09] percent of crypto consists of such crap

[00:32:12] with meme coins pumping every day

[00:32:15] people believe this could be the next

[00:32:17] one even better it seems Z casino's

[00:32:20] creators have links to other crypto

[00:32:22] scams including the zigzag exchange

[00:32:26] trace 15 million that was allegedly

[00:32:28] misallocated to work on the Z

[00:32:31] casino project zek XBT described the

[00:32:34] team as proven bad actors back in

[00:32:36] December listing multiple instances

[00:32:39] in which they had avoided making a

[00:32:41] promised payments after this rug poll

[00:32:44] the projects planned IDO on ape terminal

[00:32:47] and a IT launchpad were canceled

[00:32:49] and MEXC which had invested in the

[00:32:51] project seed round canceled the token

[00:32:54] listing so wow that's fucking gnarly

[00:32:57] not good well sounds like someone should

[00:33:00] bought dick with but 33 million

[00:33:04] others well what's your prediction

[00:33:08] you think it's gonna get worse oh no

[00:33:11] I'm saying just in general his stuff's

[00:33:13] gonna get worse and oh it's going to

[00:33:15] get worse yeah it's I can only imagine

[00:33:17] we're still early folks yeah early all

[00:33:20] the AI stuff has yet to fucking

[00:33:23] fully fall apart I think that's

[00:33:25] going to be the big thing there's

[00:33:27] love AI projects and probably like

[00:33:31] 99% of them are going to completely

[00:33:33] fucking fall apart and it's gonna be

[00:33:36] real fucking messy that's my prediction

[00:33:38] yeah wrecked calm here false advertising

[00:33:41] was merely a symptom of Z casino's dubious

[00:33:43] operations here the things that zack

[00:33:45] XBT told them that he failed to do he

[00:33:48] did not pay money owned to pancakes bra

[00:33:50] I don't know who pancakes bra is

[00:33:52] apparently big deal not announcing

[00:33:54] winners for their 200k giveaway after

[00:33:56] two months avoiding paying cl 207

[00:33:59] for a bet using a gore video from a

[00:34:02] recent murder to market their casino

[00:34:05] yo what's up click that link oh that's

[00:34:08] fucking a lot here's their official

[00:34:10] response the intern who is now removed

[00:34:12] from his position thought that

[00:34:13] reposting an already viral video while

[00:34:15] addressing the sheer horror of its

[00:34:17] contents in a dark manner would be

[00:34:19] a proper way to bring attention to

[00:34:20] this bike and hit and run incidents so

[00:34:22] it's a couple teens doing a hit and

[00:34:24] run and then hitting a guy on a bike

[00:34:26] not good the scenes fucked up seems like

[00:34:29] a bad thing going on over there

[00:34:31] I went put my money with those guys but

[00:34:33] you know what now I guess I'm just

[00:34:36] gonna stay poor you're not gonna make

[00:34:38] it you won't get your 10 days

[00:34:40] well Brian I guess it's come to this

[00:34:42] our main topic this week is one that

[00:34:49] we've been thinking about for a while

[00:34:51] and one that I've been cautious about

[00:34:54] approaching but you know what it's time

[00:34:57] that's right you're the man now dog

[00:34:59] YTM and D yeah the website with a user

[00:35:05] base that's not as bad as ebom's world

[00:35:09] but not as interesting as worth 1000

[00:35:11] a lot of really shitty edge lord content

[00:35:16] on that site as well so it started

[00:35:19] worth a thousand no one you know that

[00:35:22] damn like check that website in like 10

[00:35:25] years was going on I was gonna say no

[00:35:27] hey Photoshop contest makes this baby

[00:35:30] gay no you're the man now dog my TM and

[00:35:36] D it was a static website for a long

[00:35:38] time it didn't have anything but one

[00:35:41] image tiled and repeated of Sean Connery

[00:35:46] and the reason it's you are the man now

[00:35:48] dog is because the movie finding

[00:35:51] forester had the trailer had hit and in

[00:35:54] the movie finding forester Sean Connery

[00:35:57] for some reason he's like teaching a

[00:36:00] black man I don't remember what the

[00:36:01] movie is about I don't remember anything

[00:36:02] about the movie except the trailer

[00:36:03] because the trailer came out and

[00:36:05] everyone lost their fucking minds

[00:36:06] because it was so dumb it was this

[00:36:08] movie trailer and the big thing is

[00:36:10] this big emotional moment at Sean

[00:36:12] Conner going you're the man now dog

[00:36:15] you know and those like Jaime Escalante

[00:36:18] type of movies where the teacher is

[00:36:21] like reaching out to the young urban

[00:36:23] youth so he's trying to speak their

[00:36:25] language if we gang banged on these

[00:36:27] decibel points yeah well I'm sure

[00:36:33] all my homies hate fractions so yeah

[00:36:38] originally 2001 this guy Max Goldberg

[00:36:41] created the site it was just ASCII

[00:36:44] text of the black background just

[00:36:47] reading you're the man now dog calm

[00:36:50] months later they then swapped in the

[00:36:53] tiled picture of Sean Connery and then

[00:36:55] they added the sound which is just a

[00:36:57] loop of Sean Connery calling y'all are

[00:36:59] the man now dog yeah I've still never

[00:37:01] heard this no

[00:37:03] the question concerning your most recent

[00:37:13] work isn't whether it's good punch the

[00:37:16] keys whether it's too good yes you're

[00:37:18] the man now dog

[00:37:20] what the pull it's up and slang pussy

[00:37:23] yeah it's just banging gash as they said

[00:37:27] back in the day doesn't sound like the

[00:37:29] world's worst movie is not a bad movie

[00:37:31] it's I just couldn't remember like the

[00:37:33] basic man now dog yeah that's the

[00:37:37] highlight of the film sadly and it's

[00:37:39] in passing in like one scene reason

[00:37:41] yeah well I mean I don't think the

[00:37:43] Highlander movies really that good but

[00:37:45] I must kill the Kerrigan fair enough

[00:37:47] yes okay also the intro with the

[00:37:50] fabulous free bird

[00:37:52] fabulous free birds and shit and

[00:37:54] well you want me to believe that he's

[00:37:56] that he's he's Spanish

[00:37:58] because he's dress free

[00:38:00] oh yeah he also registered for some

[00:38:02] reason Dustin diamonds dot com yeah the

[00:38:04] guy playing Screech that's pretty

[00:38:06] fucking funny

[00:38:08] so like I said it was originally

[00:38:10] created without sound but then it

[00:38:12] just was added later at the same time

[00:38:14] Dustin diamond dot com

[00:38:16] was designed with help from

[00:38:18] the audience and

[00:38:20] the film was designed with help from

[00:38:22] style of the

[00:38:24] style project

[00:38:26] that's beautiful

[00:38:28] 2003 Dustin Diamond did

[00:38:30] send lawyers after this

[00:38:32] gentleman this here according to the

[00:38:34] official YTMND about page

[00:38:36] trying to garner control

[00:38:38] the Dustin Diamond dot com domain

[00:38:40] Goldberg was repeatedly threatened

[00:38:42] and it became clear that the dispute

[00:38:44] was almost certain to end up in the

[00:38:46] courts and that's when

[00:38:48] he lost focus while doing

[00:38:50] fucking with Dustin Diamond

[00:38:52] and went straight into YTMND

[00:38:54] the courts did decide

[00:38:56] in Goldberg's favor letting him

[00:38:58] let him keep Dustin Diamond dot com

[00:39:00] so in the press release

[00:39:02] ICAM which is the internet

[00:39:04] corporation for assigned names and numbers

[00:39:06] will allow online artist Max Goldberg

[00:39:08] to continue and to maintain

[00:39:10] his parody website DustinDiamond.com

[00:39:12] let's see here the site

[00:39:14] is a low-tech masterpiece making fun

[00:39:16] of America's worship of celebrity

[00:39:18] it includes a public forum guest

[00:39:20] book that has been taken over by pranksters

[00:39:22] posing as rabid diamond

[00:39:24] fans in a typical

[00:39:26] post someone calling himself Kurt

[00:39:28] Steinberg wrote to the child actor

[00:39:30] your queer fans who comprise

[00:39:32] 90% of the people who view this guest

[00:39:34] book daily are simply looking

[00:39:36] for homoerotic saved by the bell fantasies

[00:39:38] involving you Diamond

[00:39:40] such messages allow your gay followers

[00:39:42] to lose many loads annually

[00:39:46] so they basically said it falls under fair use

[00:39:48] he said yeah let's go nuts

[00:39:50] and so 2004

[00:39:52] you're the man now dog

[00:39:54] he soft launched it to a group of friends and family

[00:39:56] site was kind of shitty

[00:39:58] but then finally 2005

[00:40:00] it became what it is

[00:40:02] to this day

[00:40:04] here's kind of a sample page

[00:40:06] it's a site where anyone can create

[00:40:08] and upload and whatever

[00:40:10] a simple web page with a

[00:40:12] tiling image and

[00:40:14] a bit of music or any sound

[00:40:16] file really? Yeah like usually looping

[00:40:18] sound um what was it interior

[00:40:20] crocodile alligator

[00:40:22] I drive a Chevrolet movie theater

[00:40:24] that's right interior

[00:40:26] crocodile alligator I drive

[00:40:28] a Chevrolet movie theater

[00:40:30] I think there's only

[00:40:32] five you're the man now dog

[00:40:34] pages that I recollect

[00:40:36] yeah was that one

[00:40:38] of course one that inspired

[00:40:40] snakes on a plane

[00:40:42] dramatic

[00:40:44] readings that became a series

[00:40:46] because of this which was

[00:40:48] any text usually it was forum

[00:40:50] stuff or any kind of like

[00:40:52] email that you got from someone who is

[00:40:54] even slightly like

[00:40:56] unhappy those got dramatic

[00:40:58] readings the audio file was then pasted over

[00:41:00] images Brian

[00:41:02] yeah Brian peppers made

[00:41:04] it a lot of appearances

[00:41:06] the Batman bomb run which is from

[00:41:08] the 1966 Batman the movie

[00:41:10] where Adam West is running down

[00:41:12] the street carrying a bomb

[00:41:14] it became a very popular place to

[00:41:16] repost shit with had a ways

[00:41:18] what is love that

[00:41:20] Saturday night life found a lot of

[00:41:22] of the Roxbury guys

[00:41:24] Tukashi Kaga from

[00:41:26] Iron Chef biting into a bell pepper

[00:41:28] and usually accompanied by some music

[00:41:30] or something offensive depends

[00:41:32] one of my favorite things to keep coming across

[00:41:34] on you're the man now dog pages was

[00:41:36] Chakarong Makarong have you heard this

[00:41:38] song you know of course

[00:41:57] it's a Panamanian artist Ronnie

[00:41:59] Clark aka El Chumbo

[00:42:01] I don't know if you're familiar with this but here it is

[00:42:03] right and spinners which I believe

[00:42:05] we had a variation

[00:42:07] of as a shock that JPEG

[00:42:09] a little while back all comes

[00:42:11] full circle looped footage of hardcore

[00:42:13] gay porn set to three six mafia

[00:42:15] right and spinners

[00:42:17] we referred to ebombs

[00:42:19] world

[00:42:21] they ran into some problems

[00:42:23] so in January 2006

[00:42:25] this according to know your meme

[00:42:27] a doesn't change facial expressions

[00:42:29] animated gift of actress Lindsay

[00:42:31] Lohan created by you're the man now dog

[00:42:33] user splice vw was

[00:42:35] re uploaded and watermarked

[00:42:37] on ebombs world without

[00:42:39] crediting either the user or you're the man now dog

[00:42:41] in retaliation

[00:42:43] you're the man now dog users rated the

[00:42:45] ebombs world forums with spam

[00:42:47] and orchestrated d.d. o s attacks

[00:42:49] against the site

[00:42:51] Goldberg of course walked it back I tried

[00:42:53] to stop this all when it was

[00:42:55] a snowball but it just turned into an avalanche

[00:42:57] I'd like to make an open statement

[00:42:59] to the community in regards to DDoS

[00:43:01] don't do it

[00:43:03] sets a whole new precedent that does not end well

[00:43:05] it affects a lot more than

[00:43:07] just ebombs world and really crosses the

[00:43:09] line

[00:43:11] they eventually ironed it out

[00:43:13] 2006

[00:43:15] Max Goldberg announced he got a cease and desist

[00:43:17] from Scientology lawyers

[00:43:19] I don't know

[00:43:21] he refused to take

[00:43:23] down the sites in question you're the man now

[00:43:25] dog users responded by

[00:43:27] making more

[00:43:29] over 550

[00:43:31] you're the man now pages were made

[00:43:33] mocking Scientology

[00:43:35] 2007 Goldberg published a blog

[00:43:37] post announcing that Sega Europe

[00:43:39] has delivered a cease and desist

[00:43:41] letter concerning

[00:43:43] the

[00:44:06] like all drugs, alcohol and you can get hooked.

[00:44:10] I wanna get a lot of snickers.

[00:44:12] They got sued by Scholastic.

[00:44:15] A big thing at the time was to yell out Snape Kill Stumbledore.

[00:44:18] And so many people would make your The Man Now Dog pages

[00:44:21] with that as the sound.

[00:44:23] Oh God, I'm not gonna happen.

[00:44:25] Goldberg himself saying,

[00:44:26] I enjoy getting these types of emails

[00:44:28] and I'm not taking shit down.

[00:44:31] Ella and Pez came after them

[00:44:34] because of a fake Adolf Hitler Pez candy

[00:44:36] dispenser.

[00:44:37] After that happened,

[00:44:38] he then launched a Pez themed contest

[00:44:41] with the winning prize being a potential lawsuit.

[00:44:44] Here's the contest description.

[00:44:48] Madam slash sir, we address this letter to you

[00:44:51] as we have noticed a Hitler Pez dispenser on your website

[00:44:54] as this Hitler Pez dispenser is a self made fake dispenser

[00:44:57] against any humor or taste not affiliated with Pez

[00:45:01] and furthermore an obvious infringement

[00:45:04] of various statutes and rights

[00:45:05] including intellectual property plus an insult.

[00:45:09] We do ask you to instantly remove this photo

[00:45:12] and any article plus reference

[00:45:14] to the Hitler Pez dispenser from your website.

[00:45:17] Any future display of any such fake

[00:45:19] and or insulting Pez items shall be refrained from.

[00:45:23] You will set a deadline of May 15th

[00:45:25] and do ask for your immediate cooperation in this regard

[00:45:29] as otherwise legal measures will be have to be taken.

[00:45:32] They also noticed that they had a Charles Manson Pez dispenser

[00:45:36] same language, same deadline.

[00:45:38] And so people made these pages,

[00:45:41] the history of Pez.

[00:45:43] Oh God, a completely falsified history of Pez

[00:45:47] in an animated gif saying it was invented by Adolf Hitler

[00:45:51] originally to dispense cyanide pills.

[00:45:53] Jesus, they switched the pills to candy

[00:45:56] but managed to keep the taste the same.

[00:45:59] There were 106 different entries in this.

[00:46:03] The top one getting 502 votes

[00:46:05] which was the one I just mentioned.

[00:46:07] That was the kind of nonsense they got up to

[00:46:10] at your the man now dog.

[00:46:13] What a strange sight because it was really

[00:46:16] this hub of user generated nonsense

[00:46:19] like anybody could just hop on there and do whatever.

[00:46:22] And so you had, you know weird.

[00:46:23] It was like the geoc's of memes.

[00:46:25] Yes, and because it was short

[00:46:26] because it was strictly a looping gif and some audio,

[00:46:30] you could go a little nut so like some of the stuff

[00:46:33] was basic like Ronald McDonald pointing and laughing.

[00:46:36] And it was like the entirety of a parody song

[00:46:39] or the one I always remember is Neil Cisariga,

[00:46:43] an early tune of his that was like intended to mock

[00:46:47] Japanese songs like Japanese music.

[00:46:50] And it was Anna mutations.

[00:46:53] Now those originated elsewhere

[00:46:54] but they showed up on your the man now dog.com sites.

[00:46:59] And that's where I first heard them.

[00:47:01] What was it?

[00:47:02] 10 something years of just nonsense.

[00:47:04] People just going off.

[00:47:06] Is the website still up?

[00:47:07] Cause I know they said they shut down in 2019

[00:47:10] but yeah, here it is.

[00:47:12] Your the man now dog has suffered a catastrophic failure

[00:47:15] whether or not the site at Ever Baby Back

[00:47:16] is still undecided.

[00:47:18] I'm actively working on data recovery 2019

[00:47:22] but the site, I mean, I've pulled up the about page.

[00:47:26] Yeah.

[00:47:27] So I guess he got something back together

[00:47:28] and we were able to pull up old pages.

[00:47:30] So the last contest was 2020.

[00:47:34] The global pandemic contest on your the man now dog.com

[00:47:39] the reward a bottle of hand sanitizer.

[00:47:44] Spider-man singing about taking a shit in the bathtub.

[00:47:47] Can't stop the Rona.

[00:47:49] Oh no, that came in third place by the way.

[00:47:52] I forgot how dumb some of these are.

[00:47:55] It's just it's the giant ball rolling scene

[00:48:00] from Raiders of the Lost Ark with a song that goes

[00:48:04] can't stop the Rona over and over.

[00:48:07] Yeah man, it was simpler times 20 years ago.

[00:48:10] And the fact that that was made in 2020.

[00:48:13] You know, there's somebody still out there, you know

[00:48:16] doing all sorts of nonsense.

[00:48:17] It's a rainbow bright reboot recently created.

[00:48:20] Let's see what good stuff we got going on here.

[00:48:22] It's rainbow bright artwork and that's it.

[00:48:26] And this like weird, background music.

[00:48:30] That is on the sub lane.

[00:48:32] They all can't be winners folks.

[00:48:33] A song from a flash side shooter game that has five stars.

[00:48:37] Oh okay.

[00:48:38] A song from a flash side shooter game.

[00:48:40] All right.

[00:48:41] There is also one under that by the way.

[00:48:43] It's SpongeBob Fox Tina.

[00:48:45] Yeah.

[00:48:46] Not great.

[00:48:47] Like anything user generated it's some.

[00:48:50] Not all of them are winners.

[00:48:51] Not all winners, no.

[00:48:52] Well let's really end this with a high note

[00:48:54] with SpongeBob of F Astric CKs Tina.

[00:49:01] I'm guessing Tina from Bob's Burgers?

[00:49:03] I'm guessing.

[00:49:03] No.

[00:49:05] That's.

[00:49:06] Hey, I've done it three times already.

[00:49:07] Tina from SpongeBob says while she's awkwardly

[00:49:10] photoshopped into be in bed with SpongeBob.

[00:49:14] And that was marked not saying for work.

[00:49:16] That could have been much worse.

[00:49:19] That's very true.

[00:49:20] That's very, very true.

[00:49:22] The all time hits though.

[00:49:25] Donald loses it.

[00:49:26] A scene from an old Mickey Mouse movie.

[00:49:28] Yeah.

[00:49:29] The highs were high and the lows were really fucking low.

[00:49:32] Yeah I think that's why I never really fucked

[00:49:33] with this page because I kind of felt like

[00:49:35] like you said the highs are really high

[00:49:36] and the lows are really low.

[00:49:37] There's just like a lot of garbage.

[00:49:39] Yeah.

[00:49:39] At least posting on fucking fiat.

[00:49:42] Like the garbage could be at least made funny.

[00:49:44] Or yeah, or interesting or something.

[00:49:46] But yeah, just a gift from a Mickey movie

[00:49:49] where Donald hits Mickey but then replaced with Sensored.

[00:49:53] All right.

[00:49:54] Early 2000s comedy.

[00:49:56] I guess this is where we were at.

[00:49:57] You know?

[00:49:58] We're still fucking with low band with shit.

[00:50:00] And like we weren't really ready for long form.

[00:50:03] Jokes.

[00:50:04] Yeah, we weren't ready for jokes.

[00:50:07] And now, the moment you've all been waiting for.

[00:50:12] Shock.GPG.

[00:50:15] Well, Brian.

[00:50:16] What we got today?

[00:50:17] What's gross shit we got today?

[00:50:18] Oh baby.

[00:50:20] It's called Octopus Girl.

[00:50:21] Yeah.

[00:50:22] Oh my imagination is just running a mile a minute.

[00:50:25] It is a classic.

[00:50:26] It is also very unfortunate and animal cruelty

[00:50:29] is not really a my bag.

[00:50:32] There's a minute long video previously hosted by Shockchan.

[00:50:35] Also hosted by Lollshock but the Shockchan mirror

[00:50:38] was better mostly because of this

[00:50:39] which is the description.

[00:50:41] Octopus Girl is a Japanese shock video

[00:50:44] set in a Japanese bathroom.

[00:50:45] Yeah, where else is it gonna be set?

[00:50:47] Dip shit.

[00:50:48] Omaha.

[00:50:52] Wow, I can't wait to get this octopus out of your

[00:50:54] honey honey.

[00:50:55] You're in Omaha.

[00:50:57] Ni hao.

[00:50:58] Ha ha ha.

[00:51:00] There is limited dialogue in the movie

[00:51:02] but the storyline revolves around a Japanese lady

[00:51:05] giving birth to a dead octopus from her butthole.

[00:51:08] Similar to Eel Soup,

[00:51:09] this video has received rave reviews from critics

[00:51:12] and so here.

[00:51:14] Oh wow.

[00:51:15] Yeah, it is.

[00:51:17] I don't think it's coming out of her butthole.

[00:51:18] No it is not.

[00:51:20] They were very incorrect in that.

[00:51:22] Yeah, apparently someone had stuffed an octopus

[00:51:25] inside this woman

[00:51:26] and there she is in a bathtub.

[00:51:30] Very slowly.

[00:51:33] Trying to excise it.

[00:51:34] I'm glad it's only 240p.

[00:51:36] Yeah, no shit.

[00:51:37] Anything more than this?

[00:51:39] It's a minute long but it feels much fucking longer.

[00:51:43] And then yeah, that octopus is very much dead.

[00:51:46] That's horrifying.

[00:51:49] Oh please don't tell me there's anything else up there.

[00:51:51] Just flexing the old beehole at you.

[00:51:54] This is really...

[00:51:55] I'm fearing that there's something out.

[00:51:58] Ha ha ha.

[00:51:59] Here you drop this.

[00:52:00] You can drape it on top of her like hey,

[00:52:05] remember this?

[00:52:06] Ha ha ha.

[00:52:09] She's just...

[00:52:10] I don't know why this...

[00:52:11] Pure disrespect.

[00:52:13] Just...

[00:52:14] You know, it's only comical because

[00:52:16] I really like there was others,

[00:52:18] there's gonna be shit as well.

[00:52:19] Yeah, cause you're like,

[00:52:20] you see her butthole flexing

[00:52:22] and it's like no, no, what else is in there?

[00:52:26] It's bad enough.

[00:52:27] It's bad enough.

[00:52:28] And all these comments,

[00:52:30] a thousand percent fake.

[00:52:31] Okay, even if it is,

[00:52:34] it's disgusting.

[00:52:36] It's nasty shit.

[00:52:38] It fucking looks like an octopus.

[00:52:41] I feel like that's a great troll though,

[00:52:43] is just to go around fake.

[00:52:44] Just like on Pornhub fake.

[00:52:46] Oh, that's not really her stepdad.

[00:52:49] That's fake.

[00:52:51] That is true, yeah.

[00:52:52] Just like...

[00:52:53] She's not stuck.

[00:52:54] Yeah, it'd be like a...

[00:52:55] That's not her first time.

[00:52:58] Yeah.

[00:52:58] This week maybe.

[00:53:01] I don't think she needs to fuck that guy

[00:53:02] to live in this apartment.

[00:53:05] She says she has a good crite score.

[00:53:09] She's for two of this and unrealistic.

[00:53:11] I don't think that guy's gonna offer her

[00:53:13] a gym membership, yeah.

[00:53:15] They're not...

[00:53:16] Hey, those guys in that van

[00:53:18] are gonna give her a ride.

[00:53:21] Well, they are just not to where she's going.

[00:53:24] That was the old thing with Banglust

[00:53:25] that they would just drop them off

[00:53:28] and just be like, bye.

[00:53:29] There was one that someone showed me

[00:53:32] back in the day where it was...

[00:53:34] They pick up some girl and she's like...

[00:53:38] She has a picket sign that says Black Lives Matter.

[00:53:41] Oh no.

[00:53:42] And they're like, what are you taking to the protest?

[00:53:43] I'm like, oh no.

[00:53:45] No.

[00:53:46] No, that's so much that that premise is bad.

[00:53:49] Oh God, Jesus wept.

[00:53:51] Yeah, we'll take you to the protest.

[00:53:55] Occupy Wall Street.

[00:53:56] Occupy your butthole.

[00:53:58] I don't think they did a lot of anal on Bangbus.

[00:54:00] Dot net.

[00:54:02] Well, because the titles, I always love portal titles.

[00:54:04] My favorite one is One Flew Over the Poopoo's Nest

[00:54:12] and Rock and Roll in my Butthole.

[00:54:14] Those were the two that stand out.

[00:54:15] Rock and Roll in my Butthole over that one before.

[00:54:18] I don't know if I have a favorite porno name.

[00:54:19] I just...

[00:54:21] So one time I did some faux work for a guy

[00:54:23] in a local band.

[00:54:25] And he just paid me with cash

[00:54:27] and he's also like,

[00:54:28] I got much of leftover Easter candy.

[00:54:29] You want that?

[00:54:30] I'm like, sure.

[00:54:31] And then he's like,

[00:54:33] you know my wife's about to have a kid

[00:54:34] so I should probably get rid of my weird shit.

[00:54:37] So he gave me a copy of a parody of Clockwork Orange

[00:54:41] called A Clockwork Orgy.

[00:54:43] No.

[00:54:45] Oh no.

[00:54:46] He's like, you really like that movie don't you?

[00:54:48] I'm like it's one of my favorites.

[00:54:49] Like here have the porno version of it.

[00:54:51] It came in like the huge case.

[00:54:54] Oh yeah.

[00:54:55] Like the big plastic insert.

[00:54:56] Yeah.

[00:54:57] Oh, I have it somewhere still

[00:54:58] just because it's so fucking weird.

[00:55:00] It's bizarre.

[00:55:01] Yeah.

[00:55:02] Yeah, but One Flew Over the Poo Poo's Nest

[00:55:04] was not a parody of One Flew Over the Kuku's Nest.

[00:55:06] It just had that title.

[00:55:07] And I was like, that's a wasted opportunity.

[00:55:10] You've wasted my time here.

[00:55:12] That's time for the breath, man.

[00:55:13] Don't you think?

[00:55:14] Jesus Christ, yeah, sure is.

[00:55:15] After seeing an octopus

[00:55:16] slide out of a woman's birth canal.

[00:55:18] Boo!

[00:55:20] It's not why I was signed up for today,

[00:55:22] but I was just really hoping like,

[00:55:24] oh it's flying because they're gay kind of thing.

[00:55:26] Yeah.

[00:55:27] Oh, it's a gay man.

[00:55:30] It's a gay man ordering food, but his dick is out.

[00:55:33] Boing!

[00:55:34] Yeah.

[00:55:35] Whoa, that's crazy.

[00:55:37] What's up with that?

[00:55:39] Gay Jerry signed up.

[00:55:41] Wow, looks like a pretty big cock.

[00:55:43] Oh yeah, Jerry, it's a big cock.

[00:55:46] Look at all the veins.

[00:55:47] I got a baby cock, George.

[00:55:49] What are you guys doing?

[00:55:50] There was already the Elaine being gaped.

[00:55:52] Oh God.

[00:55:54] Yeah.

[00:55:55] Oh yeah, that's a gape.

[00:55:57] You gaped on a first date?

[00:56:01] Well, we gotta find the tweet and read it.

[00:56:03] Okay.

[00:56:04] Yeah, don't search Elaine gaped on Twitter.

[00:56:07] Let's just...

[00:56:09] He gaped me, Jerry.

[00:56:11] He gaped you?

[00:56:12] Why does the Grand Canyon?

[00:56:14] I can't believe this.

[00:56:15] Was he sponge-worthy?

[00:56:16] He didn't even try for that whole Jerry.

[00:56:18] He just bent me over, facedown the mattress

[00:56:20] and gaped me as white as a sinkhole.

[00:56:22] I swear if he jumped in, he could have ended up in China.

[00:56:25] I can't believe he got gaped.

[00:56:27] By the time we were done, his whole apartment hallway

[00:56:30] reeked of ass.

[00:56:32] George enters.

[00:56:34] What's going on?

[00:56:35] Elaine got gaped.

[00:56:37] Jerry, don't tell him that.

[00:56:40] George stares and breathes heavily.

[00:56:42] Oh, this is still good,

[00:56:44] but the one was Kramer comes in like,

[00:56:47] Elaine got gaped, Elaine got gaped.

[00:56:49] And he like, it's implied that Cosmo Kramer

[00:56:52] sniffs Elaine up.

[00:56:53] Oh yeah, that's a gape.

[00:56:55] Oh.

[00:56:58] It's time for your mom's favorite part of the show.

[00:57:02] It's time for the breath mint.

[00:57:05] It's the breath mint time, Brian.

[00:57:06] I think it's time to...

[00:57:07] It's time to fucking...

[00:57:10] Close out this pathetic chapter of our measly little lives.

[00:57:14] So what you been up to?

[00:57:16] You saw William Elliot Whitmore, I believe.

[00:57:19] Yes, I flipped my phone up in the air.

[00:57:22] In anticipation.

[00:57:24] It's just like to be fancy and absolutely...

[00:57:26] I got my legs crossed here on the almond,

[00:57:28] on the chair I'm sitting on.

[00:57:30] The most relaxed man in podcasting.

[00:57:32] Most relaxed man podcasting.

[00:57:34] I couldn't be doing it more,

[00:57:35] I couldn't be more relaxed if I was gaped.

[00:57:37] Yeah.

[00:57:38] Well, I found a really cool way

[00:57:40] to just flip my phone and have it land on my nuts.

[00:57:43] And to crush my nuts against my thighs.

[00:57:46] Mr. fucking Belvedere over here.

[00:57:50] Well, thankfully we don't have to

[00:57:51] start recording for a couple of days.

[00:57:54] I just feel like a little sweaty.

[00:57:59] It's like I gape myself.

[00:58:00] Anyways, yeah, William Elliot Whitmore was fantastic.

[00:58:06] That was a really great little night.

[00:58:08] My write-up is up over on the Arts S.T.L.

[00:58:11] Did you read it?

[00:58:11] I have not read it yet.

[00:58:12] Sorry about that.

[00:58:13] Oh, you fucking...

[00:58:14] I know.

[00:58:15] ...your papers and checked there, motherfucker.

[00:58:17] We were a little nervous going to this show

[00:58:18] because we had listened to, on the way there,

[00:58:20] the opener, a lady from Philadelphia named Shug Daniels.

[00:58:24] Mm-hmm.

[00:58:25] I think how I described it is this is the music you hear playing

[00:58:28] when you walk into a coffee shop that you've never been to before

[00:58:31] and realize it's too expensive.

[00:58:33] Where you're like, this is the music that plays when you go...

[00:58:36] When you see like a plate of scones

[00:58:38] about the size of a pygmy shrew

[00:58:39] and you're like, others are six bucks.

[00:58:41] Oh no.

[00:58:42] Oh boy.

[00:58:43] It's a...

[00:58:45] But I think that bias really comes

[00:58:49] from shady coffee shops are overpriced.

[00:58:52] Yeah.

[00:58:52] More than that music itself being noxious or negative.

[00:58:55] It's like this is a negative association, unfortunately.

[00:58:58] Yeah, you got the thing going.

[00:59:00] Yeah.

[00:59:01] She put on a really great set.

[00:59:04] Seemed like a really nice, lovely person.

[00:59:06] And not my kind of music,

[00:59:08] but she was really entertaining and putting on a good set.

[00:59:12] And she had commented that she had just ran on merch

[00:59:17] the night before in Chicago

[00:59:20] because all William Elliot Whitmore's fans keep buying her stuff,

[00:59:24] which is really nice and that's like a cool thing.

[00:59:26] And she seems just like a really appreciative, sweet person.

[00:59:30] And so I hope she gets to keep doing what she's doing.

[00:59:34] Yeah.

[00:59:34] She seems like she's finding a lot out of it.

[00:59:36] And so that was like a nice vibe.

[00:59:38] And William Elliot Whitmore comes out

[00:59:40] and those just like...

[00:59:41] Those wasn't like hokey shit, I think,

[00:59:43] is what kind of struck me

[00:59:45] is there's a lot of stuff that goes on there.

[00:59:47] The umbrella of Belize Music that's like...

[00:59:50] Either sounds like fucking Guitar Center on a Saturday

[00:59:53] or it's just like all vowels and like...

[00:59:57] But this guy like grew up in Iowa.

[00:59:59] He lives on the farm that he was like, his parents owned.

[01:00:03] And seems like he knows how to work the land

[01:00:07] and has like probably I would say

[01:00:09] a more intimate understanding or relationship

[01:00:11] with the world than most of us.

[01:00:13] Okay.

[01:00:14] On a certain level, the new record I think is really nice.

[01:00:17] There's a couple of winners on there for sure.

[01:00:20] But I always think like a hallmark of a really great musician

[01:00:24] is they can play a song of theirs you don't like

[01:00:28] as far as like the record goes.

[01:00:30] But like hearing it live, you're like, oh, I get it now.

[01:00:33] And there was a couple of songs that his like...

[01:00:35] I was fine.

[01:00:36] Then like watching him perform and seeing

[01:00:38] that different level of emotion

[01:00:41] that he brought to the performance.

[01:00:42] I was like, oh, okay.

[01:00:43] I get this song now and now I hear it.

[01:00:46] When I listen to it like while I'm driving or whatever.

[01:00:47] I'm like, oh, okay.

[01:00:48] And yeah, I feel it.

[01:00:49] I feel it out again now.

[01:00:52] Yeah, some songs are like that.

[01:00:54] Yeah, some it's just the song.

[01:00:55] Yeah.

[01:00:55] And he just really great crowd, real friendly.

[01:01:00] You know, they're they're giving them beers and alcohol

[01:01:05] and he got a little turnt up.

[01:01:06] And what kind of cracked me up was that he just like

[01:01:10] he was even going on about first with all of a sudden

[01:01:12] he's talking about how like, you know, fuck share, fuck Drake.

[01:01:17] Just like just funny shit.

[01:01:20] You know, he's like, yeah, they get to smoke.

[01:01:22] And like before he starts his next song,

[01:01:23] he's just kind of waiting for the mic and he's like to himself.

[01:01:25] So it was.

[01:01:29] Here's this big Iowa farm boy playing, you know, country blues.

[01:01:35] It was just a great little say.

[01:01:36] He like gave me a mill the mill finger.

[01:01:39] During one song and then he like apologized afterwards.

[01:01:43] He's like, you know, I just did it for like the phone,

[01:01:44] not like because I hate you or something.

[01:01:46] I'm like, that's OK.

[01:01:47] He's like, is your name Craig?

[01:01:49] And I'm like, no, it's Brian goes, oh,

[01:01:53] oh, there was a guy named Craig.

[01:01:55] He was coming to take photos and like, I'm not Craig.

[01:01:57] And he's like, OK, I like.

[01:01:59] Oh, so you were part of the show for about 20 seconds.

[01:02:03] And then at one point he starts having a conversation

[01:02:05] with his cousin, Jake Tweedy came down to see the show.

[01:02:09] And he's had a conversation with his cousin.

[01:02:12] He was in the crowd about like, yeah,

[01:02:14] you're your paw has some old barnwood for me.

[01:02:18] I went and picked it up.

[01:02:19] And then he's like talking to the crowd like, yeah.

[01:02:21] And they're like, what are you going to do with the barnwood?

[01:02:23] It's like, I probably make like a doghouse.

[01:02:24] I mean, like, you got to think that's a 300 year old.

[01:02:28] He's like, you know, that's a hundred year old barn.

[01:02:30] And that woods probably 300 years old.

[01:02:32] So you got to think that that tree

[01:02:35] would, you know, was from like, you know, olden times.

[01:02:38] And like, wow, that kind of never really thought of it like that.

[01:02:41] It's like that woods from like the 1600s or something.

[01:02:44] Yeah.

[01:02:45] Like this old growth.

[01:02:46] I'm like, huh, that's fucking that's wild to think about.

[01:02:49] But.

[01:02:51] Yeah, a fucking great show.

[01:02:52] Go read your read my write up on the arts.

[01:02:54] STL. Yeah, don't be a bitch.

[01:02:57] But after the show, he's.

[01:02:58] Um.

[01:03:00] You know, sign stuff and taking photos with people.

[01:03:02] My girlfriend's a real big fan.

[01:03:04] So I got a photo of her with William Elliott Whitmore.

[01:03:06] And I used this real friendly guy, really, really nice dude.

[01:03:10] Before he took a photo with my girlfriend, before it took a photo with D.

[01:03:13] He was signed some stuff for a young kid who probably had to be, I don't know,

[01:03:17] 14 at oldest.

[01:03:18] And he was like with family and all that.

[01:03:20] Yeah.

[01:03:20] I think it was like his uncle and a brother kind of look kids.

[01:03:23] Like, you know, really appreciative walks off as kids walking off.

[01:03:26] You know, Williams looking at the rest of us and he's like,

[01:03:30] you know, kid like that's doing listen to my music.

[01:03:33] I appreciate all that's nice, but shame you listen to like do a loop or something

[01:03:37] like like man, like mannequin pussy.

[01:03:41] And I just go, I just go, man, that new mannequin pussy fucking whips.

[01:03:44] And he's like, it's fucking great.

[01:03:46] Isn't it?

[01:03:46] I've been listening to all the bus all week.

[01:03:49] And I'm like, this is so like, I never thought that William Elliott Whitmore

[01:03:52] would be like a guy that was also kind of with it.

[01:03:55] Yeah, that's wild.

[01:03:57] The new mannequin pussy record is arguably the best record.

[01:04:00] Damn good.

[01:04:01] Yes. I don't know if anything's going to be better.

[01:04:03] It's going to be really hard.

[01:04:05] But that was that was super fucking fun to talking about because he's been

[01:04:09] playing St. Louis for gosh, probably over a decade now and talking about how

[01:04:12] even like the room has changed off Broadway and how it used to be a

[01:04:16] smaller stage and you know, you would actually come in through the front

[01:04:20] door and the bands come in and all these little things.

[01:04:23] And you know, he just had a lot of nice things to say about the venue,

[01:04:28] which is always nice to hear.

[01:04:29] Yeah, for sure.

[01:04:31] Off Broadway is kind of a special thing now

[01:04:36] for a lot of different reasons.

[01:04:37] But Steve and his wife as well as a lot of the people that work there

[01:04:41] have put a lot of a lot of time, a lot of effort and passion

[01:04:45] into making that room what it is today.

[01:04:47] And yeah, it was this guy.

[01:04:50] Nice to hear someone who knows who's not from St.

[01:04:53] Louis is like, no, this room used to be cool.

[01:04:55] Now it's fantastic.

[01:04:56] Yeah, absolutely.

[01:04:57] It's nice to hear that.

[01:04:58] It's nice to hear someone appreciates where they're playing like

[01:05:00] that and appreciating the people.

[01:05:02] Oh, yeah, they're helping them out.

[01:05:04] Yeah, it was good vibes, man.

[01:05:05] It's just like nice to go to show those like this is like just fun.

[01:05:08] What you been up to, brother?

[01:05:10] I have been watching a lot of movies.

[01:05:12] You know, you know, movies, guys just like watching the movies.

[01:05:17] I saw a bunch of them.

[01:05:18] There's really only two standouts

[01:05:21] that's going to be late night with the devil.

[01:05:24] Yeah, I was trying to get D to watch that the other day,

[01:05:26] but she wasn't interested.

[01:05:27] I'm like, this is the movie everyone's talking about.

[01:05:29] She's like, I really into horror.

[01:05:30] I'm like, OK, we'll watch something else.

[01:05:34] I can certainly see some hesitation about this movie

[01:05:37] because it's presented in a way as though it's a documentary,

[01:05:42] but it's also showing you a found footage type of thing.

[01:05:45] So it's trying to have it both ways.

[01:05:47] It kind of opens as a documentary and then it goes into here's

[01:05:51] the tape and then here's kind of like a camel.

[01:05:54] Holocaust, a little bit of that.

[01:05:56] Yeah. I mean, it's got a little bit of everything in it.

[01:05:58] It's got a little bit of the WNUF Halloween special in it.

[01:06:04] It's got a little bit of I mean, there's even bits

[01:06:07] that feel like they're straight out of like King of Comedy or Hey Ma.

[01:06:10] Like these movies about showbiz, right?

[01:06:14] These movies about late night talk shows.

[01:06:16] It's interesting as a genre exercise.

[01:06:19] It's been done.

[01:06:20] A ghost watch, WNUF, a couple other ones have kind of done this before.

[01:06:27] But I really like the look of it.

[01:06:29] I think the fuck David Dasmalchian is the lead here.

[01:06:35] And it's one of the first movies that I remember him being a lead in.

[01:06:39] Yeah, he's usually second or third string kind of guy.

[01:06:43] And he's fantastic.

[01:06:44] He plays this loose off the cuff talk show host

[01:06:48] just kind of try to roll with the punches as the show kind of goes off the rails

[01:06:53] because it's his Halloween night show.

[01:06:55] He's trying to save his late night talk show from being canceled.

[01:06:59] And so he's going to have on a debunker who's going to debunk

[01:07:03] some of the psychic phenomena stuff, but he's also going to have people who,

[01:07:07] you know, this guy is a psychic.

[01:07:09] And so he's trying to have that.

[01:07:12] It's a bit more moderate in that idea like we're going to have

[01:07:15] the psychic and then we're going to have the psychic debunker on.

[01:07:17] And then we're going to have a girl who claims to be possessed by the devil.

[01:07:21] And and so that's what the late night with the devil title comes from

[01:07:25] because the show is called Night Owls.

[01:07:28] People did complain about the use of AI in this movie, and it is very sparse.

[01:07:33] It happens with two title cards, which do appear a couple times in the movie,

[01:07:37] but they're not distracting enough to take you out of it.

[01:07:39] The rest of the movie is very lovingly crafted.

[01:07:42] They do a lot of 70s style.

[01:07:45] TV, it really feels like they use those big heavy cameras on casters for most of it.

[01:07:52] There's a few shots that are not possible with those, but those are kind of

[01:07:56] thematically supposed to be him having an out of body experience.

[01:08:01] Sure.

[01:08:02] And there's some documentary footage shot on 16 mil black and white.

[01:08:07] And so there's some interesting uses.

[01:08:09] And most of the movie is for three and then for the documentary at 16 nine.

[01:08:14] So they play with that.

[01:08:15] There's some I mean it's the colors right.

[01:08:19] It looks like it's fresh off a TV broadcast, like somebody hit record on a

[01:08:23] Betamax, like there's some real technical.

[01:08:27] They got a lot of the look right and then they got a lot of the feel right

[01:08:30] with the costumes like late seventies, early eighties talk shows looked like this.

[01:08:36] And so they did some real authentic stuff, not nearly as authentic

[01:08:40] as the incredibly shitty WNUF.

[01:08:43] If you haven't seen it, WNUF, the holiday, the Halloween special is

[01:08:48] because most of it for WNUF is commercials, fake commercials for products

[01:08:53] that don't exist and businesses that never existed in the first place,

[01:08:56] but all kind of crammed up against this news event that goes wrong.

[01:09:02] OK, this one doesn't have the fake commercials or any of that.

[01:09:07] It's because it's presented as a fake documentary thing.

[01:09:13] But I liked it.

[01:09:13] I mean, David kills it.

[01:09:15] A lot of the other cast also relative unknowns.

[01:09:18] They're all exceptionally good at what they do.

[01:09:21] They're also trying to present it as though it's in real time.

[01:09:24] He'll say we'll cut to commercial and then the documentary footage picks up

[01:09:28] right then and last for about the length of the commercial break,

[01:09:32] maybe off by 10, 20 seconds here or there.

[01:09:35] But I mean, they try to keep the pace up.

[01:09:38] It's fairly short movie, you know, what 87 minutes or so.

[01:09:42] And so it won't waste your time, which I always appreciate.

[01:09:45] And boy, David just kills it.

[01:09:48] I'm hoping that this will perk some people up.

[01:09:51] He's a leading man.

[01:09:53] You might look a little weird, but he's a leading man.

[01:09:55] It's like the Paul Giamatti thing.

[01:09:57] Like it's good to take you a while to wake up to it,

[01:09:58] but he's a leading man.

[01:09:59] He's got the chops.

[01:10:00] Yeah, I think he's I think he's proven himself to have some

[01:10:04] some pretty viable chops as of late.

[01:10:07] He was in fucking Batman at the dark night.

[01:10:11] He's been suicide squads, the suicide, the suicide squad.

[01:10:15] Excuse me. Yes, you're right.

[01:10:17] The superior version, the James Gunn version

[01:10:20] as a man for a movie full of so many weird exaggerated performances.

[01:10:25] His kind of stands out for being a little bit less understated.

[01:10:29] Yeah. Yeah.

[01:10:31] For the person that seems to be dealing with the most emotional

[01:10:34] and mental baggage, yeah, having them arguably

[01:10:37] the most restrained performance.

[01:10:39] Yeah. And standing out in a movie

[01:10:42] with Idris Elba and Margot Robbie going,

[01:10:46] swinging for the fences in every scene.

[01:10:48] And you're still a character that I think of when I think of that movie.

[01:10:51] And also fucking John Cena.

[01:10:53] Yes, Cena. Yeah.

[01:10:54] Well, speaking of Cena, the other one that really came to mind was blockers.

[01:10:58] Did you see blockers?

[01:10:59] I didn't see blockers.

[01:11:01] Blockers is a movie.

[01:11:04] It's a six year old movie that's kind of came in one of the theaters,

[01:11:07] which was a damn shame because I have a feeling like if it had released

[01:11:11] maybe a couple years earlier, it would have been a much bigger hit

[01:11:15] because I mean, this was kind of coming on the tails of stuff

[01:11:17] like Bridesmaids and all that.

[01:11:18] It's like an R rated adult comedy.

[01:11:21] And it's a comedy about three parents trying to stop their teens

[01:11:25] from fucking on prom night.

[01:11:28] That's the basic plot of the movie.

[01:11:30] I think the movie was originally called a cock blockers,

[01:11:33] but they just called it blockers.

[01:11:34] But yet it's it's Cena.

[01:11:37] It's Leslie Mann, a few other spirited cameos.

[01:11:41] But yeah, those two really sell the whole business.

[01:11:45] Oh, Gary Cole is in this movie.

[01:11:47] Now, if you know who Gary Cole is, he's kind of a bit part actor.

[01:11:50] He's one of those character actors.

[01:11:51] He's like in everything.

[01:11:53] OK, yeah.

[01:11:54] He was an NCIS.

[01:11:55] He was Lumberg in office space.

[01:11:58] Oh, yeah. You've seen him.

[01:11:59] Like he's a guy who's been around.

[01:12:01] He's done everything, dodgeball.

[01:12:03] I mean, so I mean, he's done a bunch of stuff,

[01:12:04] but he plays one of the other parents in this movie.

[01:12:08] The funniest part of it to me is that he hangs dong in the movie.

[01:12:12] Oh, you're showing a little bit of a zan here.

[01:12:15] Yeah. And it's like, all right, man,

[01:12:17] you've pretty much done everything in your career.

[01:12:20] Why not? Like fucking cares.

[01:12:22] His character in the movie is married to a Gina Gershaw.

[01:12:25] So it's like, yeah, why not? Sure. We're doing this.

[01:12:29] There is the reason it's R.

[01:12:31] The only reason it's R is that shot of Gary Coles, Dick,

[01:12:35] and then also of another close up

[01:12:37] where someone grabs someone's nutsack.

[01:12:42] So like for an R rated sex movie is very chased,

[01:12:46] except for those two shots in particular.

[01:12:49] That is what kept it and maybe some language from

[01:12:52] some of the other character actors.

[01:12:54] Hannibal Burris is in it for like two seconds.

[01:12:56] Very weird.

[01:12:57] It's an enjoyable little romp.

[01:12:58] You'll forget most of what it's about by the time it's over,

[01:13:02] but it's still fun to watch.

[01:13:04] It focuses on the parents more than the pre more than the teens,

[01:13:07] which is probably right because the story is about them and their anxieties.

[01:13:11] Sure.

[01:13:12] And who?

[01:13:14] Yeah, it seems like a movie that probably ship him released like in 2010.

[01:13:18] Yeah, it does feel like in just it missed the window

[01:13:22] of that era of raunchy comedy.

[01:13:25] Because I mean, it really wasn't until maybe it was last year

[01:13:29] or no hard feelings actually made a splash because I mean,

[01:13:33] I didn't really see a lot of other raunchy comedies in that.

[01:13:38] Nineteen to twenty two time period.

[01:13:41] Yeah.

[01:13:42] But yeah, blockers.

[01:13:45] A forgivable lark.

[01:13:46] It's a fun one.

[01:13:48] And boy, we love Gary Cole, don't we?

[01:13:51] What about you, Brian? Anything else?

[01:13:52] Oh gosh, well, you know, being an employee

[01:13:54] sure gives you a lot of free time.

[01:13:57] Oh, yeah, you said you were going to watch Alex Garland's men.

[01:14:00] What did you think? Oh, yeah, that was fucking.

[01:14:03] Wow, talk about a movie that kind of whipped it.

[01:14:05] Yeah. Yeah.

[01:14:07] I had that same thought when I saw it like I like Alex Garland.

[01:14:10] But I think I think my response was what the what the shit is this?

[01:14:13] Yes.

[01:14:14] And that last the third, the third act goes from being like, wow,

[01:14:17] wow, this is fucking insane.

[01:14:19] I'm really into this right to like I could not be any less

[01:14:23] interested in this movie.

[01:14:24] Like it really fucking squanders a whole lot of potential really quick.

[01:14:29] And a lot of great, I mean, two great performances, really,

[01:14:33] because it's just the same guy over and over.

[01:14:35] But he kills it.

[01:14:36] Yeah, the name of the actor off top of my head.

[01:14:38] But he amazing, like amazing performance.

[01:14:42] But yeah, a series of bad decisions at the end kind of takes away

[01:14:47] any kind of that movie might have had.

[01:14:50] I think maybe if we ended.

[01:14:54] Ten minutes earlier, you might have had, you know,

[01:14:57] maybe cut one of the graphic sequences.

[01:15:00] We might have been able to salvage that.

[01:15:02] Yeah, the the birth ball at the end went for being like,

[01:15:06] oh, wow, was this too?

[01:15:08] Like, oh, this just sucks.

[01:15:10] Well, because it happens four times.

[01:15:12] Yeah. Yeah.

[01:15:13] And like the special effects are great.

[01:15:15] Yeah.

[01:15:17] It's just it's yeah.

[01:15:19] I just wow that that whole entire time like, wow, this is great.

[01:15:22] Like, you know, this woman, her husband kills himself and she goes to,

[01:15:28] you know, this beautiful country town

[01:15:31] and rural London, rural, not London, rural Great Britain.

[01:15:36] And it's just really beautiful and picturesque

[01:15:38] and but something unsettling is happening.

[01:15:41] And you wonder if like, oh, it's just like,

[01:15:42] is it just weird country folk?

[01:15:44] And you're like, oh, no, there's something deeper going on here.

[01:15:46] Yeah, they're all played by the same guy.

[01:15:49] Like, you don't notice at first, especially when it's like a little kid.

[01:15:54] But then you start realizing, oh, that's the same guy

[01:15:57] in all these encounters that she's having with these awful men.

[01:16:01] All of them are awful.

[01:16:03] And yeah, just really well shot.

[01:16:07] I liked the the look of it.

[01:16:10] It has this again, the 70s vibe.

[01:16:14] It kind of feels like not the wicker man,

[01:16:16] but there's other British subtle horror movies around that era

[01:16:20] that have that kind of painterly look to some of the the vistas, you know,

[01:16:25] like that there's that the only movie that I could think of

[01:16:27] that looks like it is still a more recent one.

[01:16:30] It's called Sensor.

[01:16:31] It still kind of takes place in an idyllic English countryside kind of thing.

[01:16:36] But there's definitely a vibe happening.

[01:16:39] Yeah. And then the third act happens and you go,

[01:16:42] what the fuck just happened to this movie?

[01:16:44] I had a thing going here.

[01:16:46] The other thing I guess I could talk about was

[01:16:51] I binged the twist metal series.

[01:16:53] Oh, Anthony Mackie. Yeah.

[01:16:55] How was that?

[01:16:57] You know what? It shows its budget.

[01:17:00] Oh, unfortunately in a bad way because I don't believe to peek.

[01:17:04] A Kansas has palm trees.

[01:17:08] Well, it is in the alternate future twisted metal universe.

[01:17:12] I've been to Kansas.

[01:17:13] Kansas doesn't look like Burbank, but far enough from things like that.

[01:17:18] It was surprisingly good.

[01:17:20] I think Will Arnett mostly nails sweet tooth.

[01:17:23] Oh, I forgot that was him. That's right.

[01:17:26] There's just a lot of really great performances.

[01:17:30] They're weird and it's funny.

[01:17:33] But in a way that stuff isn't funny anymore.

[01:17:36] It's the odd sense of humor.

[01:17:38] It's not like a gross out.

[01:17:39] I really don't. It's not like dumb.

[01:17:41] It's middle brow. I suppose.

[01:17:43] That's fair.

[01:17:44] There's a lot of references to the original PlayStation series.

[01:17:49] There's a few references to like twist the stuff in twist a metal black

[01:17:53] and so on, but a lot of the humor and a lot of

[01:17:57] the Easter eggs, a lot of that stuff is referencing stuff

[01:18:02] from the first three PlayStation games to the older.

[01:18:05] Yeah. Yeah.

[01:18:06] Very feels very heavily influenced by the first two.

[01:18:10] Which is nice because I don't know if I could deal with like a super

[01:18:15] dour serious, like seven inspired

[01:18:21] twisted metal show.

[01:18:22] The first couple of episodes kind of feel like this could have been something else.

[01:18:25] It wasn't twisted metal and someone just did a treatment and made it related.

[01:18:29] But then by the end of the first season, it comes back together

[01:18:34] and I'm like, OK, you know, this makes sense.

[01:18:35] It has it goes to great lengths to kind of make a sense of this mythology

[01:18:41] of its world, some decent.

[01:18:44] Yeah, so actually really decent world building, to be honest.

[01:18:48] I hate it.

[01:18:49] I don't think it's mind blowing, but it's it's fun.

[01:18:52] Again, like there's some really great performances, some really great references.

[01:18:55] If you're fans of the fan of the video game series

[01:18:58] and like a decent cliffhanger for season two, which hopefully they make.

[01:19:02] Yeah, I haven't heard word about a season two.

[01:19:05] But here's hoping I have not watched the whole thing.

[01:19:08] I watched the first episode and was like, OK, interesting, interesting

[01:19:11] because I played the games when they were first out.

[01:19:14] But I think I would just hit skip when story should come up

[01:19:19] because I was not a mature gamer at the time.

[01:19:22] I did not invest myself in the story as it was of the twisted metal video

[01:19:27] game, which is to my detriment, apparently.

[01:19:30] So apparently, yeah.

[01:19:32] All right. So let's wrap up this fucker.

[01:19:34] Hey, if you think it's funny that I left the window open in my apartment
